Maria Gatsou

Maria joined the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE) in 2018 as the Manager of Communications and in 2020 she became the General Manager of SETE. She holds a degree in Business Administration, specialising in Marketing Management, from the American College of Greece and an MA in Tourism Marketing from the University of Surrey.

She started her long career in communications in 2000. She joined V+O Communication in 2005, where she gained experience in sectors such as tourism, shipping, real estate, retail, etc. She has a proven track record in designing and implementing strategic communication plans (public affairs, media relations, etc.), as well as emergency and crisis communication management.
