Alex Raftopoulou

Alex Raftopoulou, Chief Technology Officer at Munich Re HealthTech, is an accomplished business executive with more than 25 years of experience in the field of technology and software development for health insurance, in Greece and abroad. She combines extensive experience with a strong sense of responsibility and work ethic. She is a founding member of Munich Re HealthTech, a subsidiary of the Munich Re group, and since 2015 has held the position of Chief Technology Officer, from which she outlines the company's product strategy and development. Throughout her professional career, she has always recognized the importance of technology product design while leading the implementation of major projects in various countries around the world. Distinguished by high skills in strategic thinking, software product development and leadership in multinational environments. Alex has an innate need to learn new things and has a life goal, through her actions, to support and inspire others to grow. She studied Physics at the University of Athens and then obtained an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Manchester and an MBA from the University of Bath. She is an enthusiastic tennis player and swimmer. When she is not at Munich Re HealthTech or at a tennis court, she enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures.
