Marina Hatsopoulos

Marina Hatsopoulos is an entrepreneur and angel investor. She is the Chairperson of the Board and angel investor at Levitronix Technologies, a leader in magnetically levitated pumps. She is a Director at Cynosure, a $250 million leader in the laser aesthetics market, and a Director and angel investor at Dear Kate, a company active in technology apparel. She sits on the advisory boards of the Nantucket Conference and the Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation at MIT. She was the founder, CEO and primary investor in Z Corporation, a company valued at $30 million at the time it was sold, mainly active in 3D printers. She also served as Director of the GSI Group, a $300 million manufacturer of laser-based products, and Contex Holding, a company valued at $100 million and active in the manufacturing of scanners. She was an angel investor and Director of Tea Forte, a company sold to Sara Lee in late 2011. She holds a degree from Brown University and an MS from MIT.
