UVITRONICS

UVITRONICS IKE is a spinoff company of the University of West Attica. Designed and developed through research the new innovative medical grade UVC ULTRAPURE air sterilizers, using cutting edge and maximum performance patented technology. The UVC UTRAPURE devices capture all airborne pathogens (viruses, microbes, fungi, etc.) as well as ultrafine particles of dust and bioaerosols (which are also the carriers of pathogens) and destroy them on the spot.  According to real-time experiments carried out by the Hellenic Pasteur Institute, in an ATTIKO METRO wagon with a volume of 100 m3, the device reduced the microbial load by 90% within 15 minutes, while in the presence of patients in the ICU of the LAIKO Hospital, the microbial load was reduced by 70 % within an hour. These certified results published already in two American scientific journals, combined with the ease of use, an attractive design and the relatively low cost of the device, promise that UVC ULTRAPURE air sterilization devices will leave far behind devices on the market, which they mostly use traditional technologies.

We believe that this product will be a great tool for the protection of public health in Health Care units as well as for dealing with the annual breaks of influenza, H1N1, etc.,  that often occur in educational spaces  (i.e. Universities, Schools, Kindergartens), public transport and many other places.
