Athanassios Liakopoulos

Athanassios Liakopoulos has been working for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) since 2012. As a member of the HPE Pointnext global practice team, he heads the development of complex solutions for intelligent venues, such as sports stadiums, airports, hotels, office spaces, museums etc., as well as future cities. He has gained valuable know-how in modern technologies, such as Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and ubiquitous connectivity.

He has actively contributed in helping large companies make the most of modern technology and understand the behaviour of their end clients. He has also helped them codify their competitive advantage through ICT, formulating business plans and building proper infrastructure with the lowest possible cost.

He has received awards both for his academic and professional efforts. He has worked in the area of applied research and has published numerous papers in scientific journals. He is always eager to listen to new ideas and contribute to environmental protection.
