Eleni Papandreou

Eleni Papandreou was born in Athens on April 17th, 1962. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Operations Research, both from the London School of Economics.  
She is owner and CEO of Intersys SA, one of the top players in the Greek IT, Office Automation and Consumer Electronics markets, founded by her father, Mr. Nikolaos Papandreou, in the early 1960s. It began as the first ever Greek IT company and has spanned five decades of technology adoption in the Greek market. Perhaps one of the most resilient and effective technology companies,  Intersys continues to implement innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies in corporate environments, every time leveraging trusted relationships with prestigious companies with a worldwide scope. 
Mrs. Papandreou has served the Federation of Hellenic Information Technology & Communications Enterprises (SEPE) as an elected member of the BoD for 4 consecutive terms (2003-2011) while in parallel lobbying in support of technology investments as an appointed Member of the Central Advisory Committee on Private Investment Law at the Ministry of Finance.
Recently, she was also elected President of the BoD at TECHNOPOLI – ACROPOLIS SA, an association of 130 companies, which holds the official license for the establishment, development and management of the homonymous Technological Park in Athens.
