The John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation plays a pivotal role in implementing projects for the collective benefit of Greek society. It funds and implements initiatives aimed at effectively addressing contemporary social needs. Innovation thrives through strong synergies. That’s why we work with leading institutional organisations, accelerators, universities and research centres in Greece and abroad. Alongside us are also sponsors and supporters who believe in our vision and actively contribute to its ongoing development.
This is an initiative aimed at mapping startups and providing them with support to grow. Its ultimate goal is to showcase a strong innovation ecosystem. The initiative begins with a digital portal through which Greek startups can apply to get officially certified by the competent authority of the Ministry of Development and the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI). Eurobank and the egg are official supporters of Elevate Greece.
The Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism, has undertaken to upgrade the Greek tourism product. Its core mission is to promote and showcase Greek tourism, both domestically and internationally, to implement the Ministry’s tourism policy and to strengthen the country’s image worldwide. The egg enjoys the institutional support of the GNTO to develop the 1st Greek cluster in digital technologies in the Tourism and Culture sectors.
It is the competent national body, under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responsible for attracting foreign direct investment and promoting Greek exports. As a member of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Economic Diplomacy mechanism, it works closely with the network of Embassies, Consulates and Economic and Commercial Affairs Offices, among others, in all major markets worldwide. This way, it achieves synergies and implements joint actions to save resources and leverage the country’s comparative advantages. The egg collaborates with Enterprise Greece on initiatives promoting extroversion and business networking.
It is an educational platform that brings together thousands of young people from across Europe to discuss current European issues, discover and develop their skills, and gain an understanding of the principles of dialogue, cooperation, and respect. The egg provides its premises for events and meetings organised by the European Youth Parliament.
It is a modern public service with a mission to design and coordinate the implementation of Research, Technological Development and Innovation (RTDI) policy. It supports the activities of research and production bodies through competitive research programmes, with a focus on economically and socially equitable development. The GSRI oversees research centres and technological institutions that have and promote the essential skills for generating knowledge and innovation. The General Secretariat for Research and Innovation of the Ministry of Development and Investment chose Eurobank and the egg Accelerator to develop and support the 1st Greek cluster in digital technologies in the Tourism and Culture sectors.
