Andreas Petropoulos

Andreas Petropoulos is the CEO at Convert Group, an angel investor and a mentor in Greek startups. Together with 60+ talented colleagues, he converts data into value for leading European retailers and their suppliers.

He began his startup journey in 2007, when he joined Upstream. He served as COO at Upstream and subsequently as COO at Softomotive. Before taking on these roles, he had participated in 2 transactions involving Greek startups: the investment in Upstream by Actis, and the acquisition of Softomotive by Microsoft.

He holds a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Sussex, an MSc in Mobile and Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey and an MBA from ALBA Graduate Business School.

He is married and has 2 children.
