Eli Liraz

Eli Liraz is the CEO at EcoFer Fertigation Technologies Ltd. He is an entrepreneurial and results-driven executive with over 30 years of management experience across high-tech and ag-tech industries. He is recognised for his strategic vision, creative problem-solving, and strong analytical and decision-making capabilities. He has proven expertise in business turnaround, growth acceleration and international business development.

His professional background includes key leadership roles at Scitex (now Kodak) in digital printing, Orbotech (now KLA) in optical inspection systems and Raicol in electro-optic crystal production. In the ag-tech sector, he has led operations and innovation at Gavish, a global provider of agricultural control systems (now part of Jain Group, India), as well as at the startups Ecofer, that develops precision fertigation systems and AGAM Aquaculture, that pioneers automated in-water fish management systems.

With extensive international experience, he has spearheaded partnerships and marketing initiatives with leading firms such as Ishiguru (Japan), Essilor (France) and Alfa Laval (Sweden), and successfully established subsidiary operations in the United States. His track record includes securing funding from banks, private investors and equipment suppliers, and managing R&D projects co-funded by the Israeli government and European programmes.

Today, he serves as a mentor in several Israeli accelerators, guiding young ventures through development and early growth, and holds leadership roles as chairman and vice-chair in various industrial organizations.

He holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
