Evangelos Vagias

Evangelos Vagias is Technology & Digital Transformation Director at Demo Pharmaceuticals SA. He leads the development, operation and expansion of the company's IT infrastructure and applications. He aims to support its development plan and promote its technological and digital transformation.

He has significant work experience in areas such as IT, Telco, Cloud, Data Analytics, Business Strategy, Digital Transformation & Change Management. He held various senior positions in large organisations in Financial Services & Telco industry (Eurobank, OTE Group, Intracom) where he successfully developed and implemented complex digital transformation programs. At the same time, he was responsible for large-scale technology organisations.

He has also been active in areas such as energy management and cost reduction, as well as in Academia in research & education positions.

Evangelos holds a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens and an Executive Certificate in Change Management from Henley Business School.
