Katerina Papathoma

As Managing Consultant at MGC Consulting Services, Katerina Papathoma provides consulting services in the sectors of research and development, clinical research, medical affairs, regulatory and governmental affairs. As a certified Business Coach & Mentor, she supports startups as well as executives from both small and large companies.

She has decades of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and the public and private healthcare sector in Greece, the EU and the EMEA region. Specifically, she has worked in the public sector at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and Technology (IFET) and the National Organisation for Medicines (EOF). Most importantly, she has worked for the local and international pharmaceutical industry (VIANEX SA, Winthrop, Cilag, ROCHE, Janssen Cilag, Janssen EMEA). Throughout the years, she has served as Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs, Drug Quality and Regulatory Affairs. She also had the opportunity to lead large international teams, departments, and projects with scope and impact across multiple countries.

Katerina Papathoma is a chemist graduate from the University of Athens and holds a Pharmaceutical Physician Diploma from the University of Basel (Switzerland).

She is an active member of the Hellenic Centre of Volunteer Managers.
