Maria Leontiou

Maria Leontiou is Head of Eurobank Next - Digital Growth & Future Competitiveness. She has held positions of responsibility at Eurobank, gaining experience in corporate innovation, project management, business development and operations, since 2002.

Before that, she was a broker in the Greek Stock Exchange. The field of financial services soon won her over and she has been professionally active in it for the last 24 years.

Due to her innate curiosity for anything new, she is passionate about and always seeks innovation. This has brought her close to the community of startups, which she supports as a mentor. She strongly believes in the power of networking and community, and considers her participation in the organising team for TEDxAthens and the Board of Ethelon two of her most rewarding experiences to date.

Maria is a graduate of the School of Civil Engineering, National Technical University of Athens.
