Rana Mohsen

Dr Rana Mohsen is a Healthcare Branding Consultant, AI Instructor and the Founder and Managing Director of Marklinica, a leading medical communications and branding agency that has delivered over 4,000 projects across 30 countries since 2017. With a strong background in pharmaceutical marketing, digital transformation, and health tech innovation, she supports companies in building effective, compliant, and patient-centred healthcare brands.

She has extensive experience in pharmaceutical branding, cosmeceutical product development, medical marketing strategies, and healthcare content production. Her work spans brand identity creation, packaging innovation, regulatory-aligned communication, and digital marketing for healthcare organisations, clinics, and global pharmaceutical brands. She is also an AI instructor specialising in integrating artificial intelligence into healthcare branding, creative production, and business development processes.

In addition to her industry work, Rana is deeply committed to empowering women founders and professionals in the MENA region, Africa, and Central Asia. Over the past 7 years, she has mentored more than 300 women and 250 startups through global organisations such as USAID, UN Women EXPO, VC4A, Startups Without Borders, GWNET, and The Female Factor. Her mentorship focuses on business growth, fundraising readiness, brand strategy, and leveraging technology to build sustainable ventures.

She is also an international public speaker, delivering sessions on AI in healthcare branding, digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and women’s economic empowerment. Her work has been globally recognised, and she was named amongst the Top Arab Women Entrepreneurs and Leaders 2025 for her contribution to the region’s innovation and healthcare marketing landscape.
