Vangelis Sakelliou

Vangelis Sakelliou is Head of Business Development and Marketing at Futora.

He provides professional business development services and has worked for over 15 years at some of the world’s leading FinTech companies, including SunGard, FIS, Intercontinental Exchange, SuperDerivatives and Bloomberg. He has been responsible for creating new markets and launching new products worldwide, as well as for advising clients on complex solutions and multimillion-dollar deals.

He has also been responsible for establishing a presence in the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Southern Africa) for an Asian financial technology company. He is currently preparing a business development and marketing plan in collaboration with the company’s founder and shareholders. The aim is to increase revenue, profitability and brand recognition.

Vangelis has developed go-to-market sales strategies, designed business strategies and built relationships with Tier 1 financial institutions. His expertise lies in financial technology, banking and financial markets. His interests focus on blockchain, artificial intelligence and machine learning, Big Data and Sales Incentives & Compensation Tools.
