Xenia Kourtoglou is a founding member of iforU (Greek Mentoring Network), an elected member of the European Business Mentors for female entrepreneurship and the General Secretary at IAB Hellas.
She started her business career in 1985, still a student and mother of a 2-year-old daughter. In 1988 she founded Focus Bari, a leading market research agency with a successful 30-year track record in the Greek market and international recognition.
She has been doing volunteer work for the last 27 years in the area of communication and the media and in the business community through local organisations (SEDEA, EEET, EEDE, EIM, TOGME) and international institutions and networks (ESOMAR, IRIS EMRO, OPTEM).
In May 2014 she won the Hellenic Entrepreneurship Award with a new startup, e-satisfaction, which is already used by the top 200 Greek e-shops, promoting 360 customer experience in e-Commerce.
Having great faith in human strength, Xenia Kourtoglou makes an essential contribution to the development and empowerment of young people and women through conducting continuous relevant Focus Bari surveys, teaching systematically at Panteio University and other universities since 1997, supporting relevant events and mainly through setting an example.
Xenia is an alumna of Pierce and Deree Colleges.
