It is a spin-off of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), dedicated to evaluating innovative technologies and technological services from an ethical and social (Social Sciences and Humanities – SSH) perspective. It aims to develop dedicated tools and methodologies that ensure transparency, integrity and social acceptance in the research process and the development of technological solutions. By integrating ethics, integrity and safety by design, EIChecked helps organisations, companies and research teams align their innovations with societal values and long-term wellbeing.

EIChecked operates in the following areas:

• SSH Impact Assessment Tool – Offers a comprehensive approach integrating humanities and social science dimensions into technological research and development.
• Strategic Development Support Services – Completes the tool solutions by supporting customers in strategic development, social and ethical impact assessment and corporate social responsibility policy implementation.
• Collaboration and Networking Platform – Facilitates networking among researchers, institutions, businesses and social scientists, fostering knowledge exchange and best practices while promoting innovation with a focus on social impact.
