Vangelis is a business development professional and has worked over a period of more than 15 years for some of the biggest Fintech companies in the world, including SunGard, FIS, Intercontinental Exchange, SuperDerivatives and Bloomberg. He has been responsible for building new markets and bringing new product offerings across the globe, advising clients on complex solutions and signing multimillion dollar deals.

He is currently responsible for creating an EMEA presence for an Asian company that offers financial technology. He is preparing a business development and marketing plan along with the founder and shareholders of the company. He is implementing it with the objective to increase revenues, profitability and brand awareness.

He has strategised go-to-market sales, devised business strategies and built relations with Tier 1 financial institutions. His expertise is primarily financial technology, banking and financial markets, but his interests also include blockchain, AI and machine learning, Big Data and Sales Incentives and Compensation Tools.
