Andreas Petropoulos

Andreas is the CEO of Convert Group, an angel investor and a mentor in several Greek startups. Andreas has been in the startup ecosystem since 2007, when he joined Upstream. He has been the COO of Upstream and the COO of Softomotive, having witnessed 2 transactions in Greece when Upstream became an Actis portfolio company and when Microsoft acquired Softomotive. Currently, as CEO of Convert Group, he works with more than 60 talented professionals to convert data into value for the largest European retailers and their suppliers. 

He has a Beng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Sussex, an MSc in Mobile and Satellite Communications from University of Surrey and an MBA from Alba Graduate Business School. He is married and he has 2 daughters, 6 and 9 years old.
