Commitments of the egg Start Up participants

egg Start Up participants can enjoy all the benefits, services, and infrastructure offered during the Grow phase in order to acquire important skills and capacities that will enable them to face the challenges on the road towards business creation, growth and success. At the same time, the participants in the egg Start Up are committed to comply with the terms and provisions of the egg Start Up Call for Proposals, as well as the detailed terms of the egg Start Up participation agreement that they will be asked to sign if they qualify to the Grow phase. These include the following key commitments that egg Start Up participants are required to accept:

  • Acting in good manners and in line with commonly accepted rules of social and professional behaviour, applying due diligence and professional conduct when using the egg infrastructures and services.
  • Paying a monthly rent for the duration of their participation, amounting to forty-five euros (€45) per month for each distinct workplace that the team will occupy in the context of its establishment in the egg building. This amount will be used for the further strengthening of the benefits of egg Start Up to its participants (e.g., extroversion actions, networking, etc.) as well as for public benefit / social responsibility purposes of the participants’ choice.
  • Paying a symbolic success fee of one percent (1%) on any funding achieved if, during their participation in egg Start Up, they secure financing in the form of investment capital for their business plan. Any amount paid by the participants will be again used to further strengthen the benefits of egg Start Up to its participants (e.g., extroversion actions, networking, etc.) as well as for public benefit / social responsibility purposes of the participants’ choice.
  • Referencing in each promotion and dissemination action (assuming that such communication activities are under their control) in relation to their business plan with which they got accepted in the egg Start Up that they were supported in the development of their business plan by the egg Programme.
