Nikitas Despotidis

He has worked for more than 20 years in technical, commercial and administrative posts of increasing responsibility in multinationals specialising in technology, IT services and consulting services, such as Group Bull, Digital (DEC), Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, Ernst & Young (EY), while he was co-founder and general manager of the Greek subsidiary of the international IT consulting group Quint. Since 2011 he has joined the consulting department of Ernst & Young, currently serving as Director, based in Athens and responsible for SE Europe. As of 2003 he is also an assistant professor, teaching strategy classes at the International MBA of the University of Strathclyde Business School, Athens annex. Mr Despotidis holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Patras, an MSc in Automation Systems from Imperial College London and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde Business School in the UK. He holds professional certifications in Project Management (PRINCE2), IT Service Management (ITIL v3) and Agile and Scrum methodology (Professional Scrum Master-PSM I). He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), and a full member of the Hellenic Management Association (EEDE) and the Hellenic Institute of Informatics, while he is a founding executive and member of the first BoD of the Greek IT Service Management Forum (itSMF Hellas).
