Astiki Ptinotrofia is a distance programme for people living in the city who wish to breed chickens for meat and egg production, without having the space, poultry, equipment and required knowledge. It is aimed at nutrition-aware consumers who care about the traceability of the food they consume “from field to plate”, but also at businesses (premium butcher shops and restaurants) wishing to stand out and achieve vertical integration. Users choose online the number of chickens, their feed, which depends on their dietary habits, and the available breeding dates with a duration of 90 days. The company undertakes the day-to-day management of the breeding process. Users are allowed to visit the site in person or online through live streaming, using electronic devices on set days and times. Once the breeding is completed, we deliver the chickens in vacuum packing ready for consumption.
