CeBTec is an under establishment spin-off company of the Agricultural University of Athens that aspires to dominate the global market of portable diagnostic and analytical systems. The business team and its partners have more than 25 years of research experience, with products of high technological maturity (TRL>8) and an ever-growing portfolio of patents, national and international. The core technology of the company's current product line is a Bioelectric Biosensor technology based on Molecular Recognition through Membrane Engineering, which enables highly sensitive diagnostic tests to be performed within 3 minutes and at extremely low cost.
In the present phase, CeBTec's products target the rapid, direct and low-cost detection of respiratory viruses as well as antibodies against them as a result of exposure, disease or vaccination. CeBTEc will gradually expand to other diagnostic systems and analysis technologies with the main focus on the production of original products, low cost of manufacture and use.
