Sustainable Food Movement in Greece (SFMinGR)

Social Economy and Knowledge Society

Sustainable Food Movement in Greece is a social business aiming to tackle food waste and promote sustainability in gastronomy and tourism, introducing foodity.

It provides training and consulting services to businesses operating in the said sectors, which wish to be innovative, and environmentally and financially sustainable, and highlight their corporate social responsibility, as well as to professionals who wish to specialise in sustainable gastronomy.

foodity is the first Greek low-cost surplus food meal app for high-end hotels and restaurants, aiming to tackle food waste in high-end gastronomy.

Consumers who cannot afford to dine at a high-end restaurant may use foodity to enjoy up to 3 fresh and healthy meals daily, which under other circumstances would end up in the garbage, during specific times in the day, adopting ethical consumerism.
