Evangelos Vagias

Evangelos Vagias is Technology & Digital Transformation Director at Demo Pharmaceuticals S.A. where he leads the development, operation and expansion of the company's IT infrastructure and applications, with the aim of supporting its development plan and promoting its Technological & Digital Transformation. He has significant work experience in areas such as IT, Telco, Cloud, Data Analytics, Business Strategy, Digital Transformation & Change Management. He held various senior positions in large organizations in Financial Services & Telco industry (Eurobank, OTE Group, Intracom) where he successfully developed and implemented complex digital transformation programs, while at the same time being responsible for large-scale technology organizations. He has also been active in areas such as Energy Management and cost reduction, as well as in Academia in research & education positions. He holds a Ph.D in Electrical & Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens  and an Executive Certificate in Change Management from Henley Business School.
