Yannis Mitsos

Yannis Mitsos holds a PhD from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

He has worked as head of European co-financed projects that aimed to develop electronic infrastructure in the Balkan countries. During 2008-2018 he undertook to staff and operate the network and cloud-computing operational centre of the Greek Research and Technology Network, which is responsible for providing services to the Greek academic and educational community, by building and using a nationwide fiber-optic network and four data centres. As an operational manager, he oversaw a team of 20 engineers.

Since the beginning of 2019 he has been working at Lamda Hellix as a Senior Solutions Architect, designing integrated solutions for hybrid cloud-computing infrastructures.
